AMERIGROUP Florida, Inc. serves Medicaid, SCHIP and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) members in the State of Florida. It now also offers three Medicare Advantage plans to qualified members.
The health plan has been operational in Florida since 2003. Our current service areas include 15 counties in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa regions. AMERIGROUP also operates under the Medicaid Reform contract. This contract is part of the Florida Medicaid Reform pilot program.
In 1998, the Florida Diversion program was created. It added more counties to the managed long-term care program. AMERIGROUP Florida proudly serves recipients of SSI under this program.
AMERIGROUP Florida is a part of AMERIGROUP Corporation. Offices are in Boca Raton, Miami, Orlando, Stuart, Tallahassee (for Government Relations) and Tampa.
Georgia
AMERIGROUP Georgia serves Medicaid and SCHIP members in the State of Georgia. AMERIGROUP’s Georgia health plan began operations in June 2006 in the Atlanta Region and then participated in the regional rollout in September 2006 in the North, East, and Southeast regions.
AMERIGROUP Georgia is a part of AMERIGROUP Corporation. Our offices are located at in Atlanta, Augusta and Savannah.
Maryland
AMERIGROUP Maryland, Inc. serves Medicaid, SCHIP and SSI members in the State of Maryland. We have been operational in Maryland since 1999. Our current service areas include 21 of the 24 counties in Maryland. In January 2007, AMERGROUP Maryland began operating a Medicare Advantage Plan (Special Needs Plan) for recipients who get both Medicare and Medicaid in Maryland. In January 2008, it expanded its Medicare program to include two additional Medicare Advantage Plans for those who are eligible for Medicare only.

New Jersey
AMERIGROUP New Jersey, Inc. serves Medicaid, SCHIP, Uninsured and SSI members in the State of New Jersey through NJ FamilyCare. We have been operational in New Jersey since 1996. Our current service areas include 20 of the 21 counties in New Jersey. In January 2008, the health plan expanded to offer Medicare Advantage plans for individuals who are eligible for Medicare only for those who are eligible for Medicaid and Medicare.

New Mexico
AMERIGROUP Community Care New Mexico, Inc. serves members in the Coordination of Long Term Services (CoLTS) program in the State of New Mexico. The CoLTS program services, which are funded in part under contract with the State of New Mexico, began operations with AMERIGROUP in August 2008. Our current service areas include Bernalillo, Los Alamos, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Torrance, and Valencia counties. In January 2008, the health plan began offering a Medicare Advantage plan for those eligible for Medicare only and a Medicare Advantage plan for those eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.

New York
AMERIGROUP New York, LLC serves Medicaid, SCHIP, Uninsured and Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) members in the State of New York. Service areas include New York City, within the boroughs of Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island, and Putnam County. Operations under AMERIGROUP New York began in 2005. In January 2008 the health plan began offering Medicare Advantage plans for those eligible for Medicare only and those eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare.

Ohio
AMERIGROUP Ohio, Inc. serves Medicaid (CFC), SCHIP and ABD members in the State of Ohio. Our Ohio health plan began operations in 2005 in the Cincinnati service area with the Medicaid and SCHIP programs and has expanded into the Dayton service area. We now serve 16 counties. We recently began serving recipients in the program for people who are aged, blind, and disabled in the Southwest Region. The Southwest Region includes eight counties near Cincinnati.

South Carolina
AMERIGROUP Community Care, South Carolina serves mothers and children eligible for Medicaid’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program and people with long-term illnesses and disabilities eligible for Medicaid’s Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program. AMERIGROUP began operations in November 2007. Our current service area is in Columbia and the surrounding counties.

Tennessee
AMERIGROUP Community Care, Tennessee serves mothers and children eligible for Medicaid’s Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program and people with long-term illnesses and disabilities eligible for Medicaid’s Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program through the state of Tennessee's TennCareTM program.. AMERIGROUP Tennessee began operations in April 2007. Our current service area is Middle Tennessee. In January 2008, it began offering three Medicare Advantage plans for those who are eligible for Medicare only and those who are eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare.

Texas
AMERIGROUP Texas, Inc. serves Medicaid, SCHIP and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) members through the STAR and STAR+PLUS programs in the State of Texas. It began serving members eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid in 2005 and has expanded to offer two other Medicare Advantage plans for people eligible for Medicare only.
The health plan has been operational in Texas since 1996.

Virginia
AMERIGROUP Virginia, Inc. serves Medicaid, SCHIP and SSI members through the Medallion, FAMIS Plus and FAMIS programs in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We began operations in 2005, serving 11 counties in Northern Virginia.
