Ethics
For our Associates, ethics remains a primary point of emphasis at AMERIGROUP.
- AMERIGROUP Corporation, including its subsidiaries and affiliates, its Associates, officers and Directors are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in the conduct of their business and maintaining a work environment that promotes and requires compliance with applicable governing laws.
- The Company has a dedicated Office of Business Ethics, including specifically designated Associates for all AMERIGROUP offices to report to the Office of Business Ethics (ethics@amerigroupcorp.com).
- AMERIGROUP also utilizes a Code of Business Conduct and Ethics that is readily available for all its Associates. This Code reflects AMERIGROUP’s mission and values. It holds each person and entity accountable for their actions and/or omissions and must be part of AMERIGROUP’s day-to-day operations. Our Code of Business Conduct holds each AMERIGROUP person and group accountable for their actions in their day-to-day work.
Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
AMERIGROUP prohibits retaliation against any individual who in good faith reports suspected misconduct or participates in a compliance investigation.The Compliance Officer and any individual assisting with a compliance investigation will maintain the confidentiality of the individual filing the compliance report to the extent allowed under exists laws, regulations and rules.
Risk Control & Compliance Officer (RCCO) Program
Each RCCO provides oversight and support of activities related to Enterprise Risk Management and the Compliance Program. All AMERIGROUP Associates are encouraged to contact their RCCO to address compliance related concerns and to report violations of policy or law.
